When is this O-ring replaced?
This O-ring is a service seal, renewed when the coilover damper is rebuilt or resealed. Once the damper is opened the old O-ring is typically discarded and replaced, since a perished seal lets the oil and gas charge leak past. Fit a fresh one on every rebuild.
What's the difference between the 2.0 and 2.5 O-ring?
This 3904006 O-ring is sized for the 2.0 inch coilover end cap. The 2.5 inch damper uses a different size, part number 3904043. Match the O-ring to your coilover bore size, since the 2.0 and 2.5 seals are not interchangeable. Confirm your damper size before ordering.
