Pakking koelvloeistofuitlaat voor het motorkoelsysteem, dicht de koelvloeistofuitlaatflens af waar deze de motor verbindt bij V8-toepassingen.

De pakking vormt de verbinding tussen het koelvloeistofuitlaathuis en de motor, en houdt de koelvloeistof vast wanneer deze de motor verlaat naar het radiateurcircuit. Het is een O-ringprofielpakking met een nominale maat van 54 mm.

What does this Gasket seal?
This Gasket seals the coolant outlet flange where it joins the engine on V8 applications. It forms the joint between the coolant outlet housing and the engine, containing coolant as it leaves the engine for the radiator circuit. It's the thermostat housing gasket.
How many of these Gaskets are needed?
You typically need one Gasket per thermostat housing. It's renewed whenever the housing is disturbed, since an old gasket rarely reseals reliably once broken. Fit a new one anytime you remove the coolant outlet to avoid a repeat coolant leak.
Which V8 Land Rovers does this Gasket fit?
This Gasket fits the Discovery 3, Range Rover L322 and Range Rover Sport L320 with the AJ V8 petrol engines. It seals the thermostat housing on those applications. Confirm your engine is the V8 petrol before ordering, as diesel engines use a different housing.
Why replace the thermostat housing gasket?
The gasket hardens and shrinks with heat and age, which is a common source of coolant weeps around the thermostat housing on these V8 engines. Once it starts leaking it won't reseal, so renew it whenever the housing is opened rather than reusing the old one.
