The 4575902 water pump circulates coolant through the engine block, cylinder heads and radiator to hold the AJ-V8 petrol engine at its operating temperature. It's driven from the front of the engine and bolts directly to the block.
What are the signs the water pump needs replacing?
A failing water pump typically shows as a coolant leak from the pump body or weep hole, a bearing whine or grinding from the front of the engine, and engine overheating. Replace it if it's leaking or noisy to avoid coolant loss.
Which engines and models does this water pump fit?
It fits the 4.4 V8 EFI and 4.2 V8 Supercharged petrol engines in the Discovery 3 (2005-2009), Range Rover L322 (2002-2009) and Range Rover Sport L320 (2005-2009). It won't fit diesel or other petrol engines, so confirm your engine first.
