Frequently asked questions

What is the AFU3341L repeater lamp for?
The AFU3341L is a wing-mounted side repeater lamp in the direction-indicator circuit. Fitted to the side of the front wing, it flashes in time with the turn signals to show your intended direction to traffic alongside. The assembly includes the amber lens, body and bulb holder.
When should the AFU3341L be replaced?
Replace the AFU3341L when the amber lens is cracked or discoloured, or when the repeater stops working. A non-functioning side repeater is a common MOT advisory. The assembly renews the lens, body and bulb holder together, so you're not just swapping the lens.
Is the AFU3341L a DIY fitting job?
Fitting the AFU3341L is typically a DIY job. The side repeater usually unclips or unscrews from the front wing, then the bulb holder twists out from behind. Disconnect the holder, fit the new lamp and reconnect. No specialist tools are normally needed.
