Gusset is een verstevigingsplaat voor de naar binnen gerichte zitplaatsverankering achteraan links.

Het verstevigt de structuur van de stoelbevestiging, verdeelt de belasting van de stoelbevestiging over de omringende carrosserie en verstijft de verbinding op het ankerpunt. Gemonteerd aan de linkerkant, wordt deze vervangen wanneer corrosie of vervorming het origineel heeft verzwakt.
