What is the DA4780 right-hand side frame assembly kit?
The DA4780 is a full body side frame for four and five-door Station Wagon bodywork, right-hand side, used to replace a corroded or damaged side structure. It's supplied in three sections, the sill rail together with the B-post and C-post pillars, ready to weld into place.
Which vehicles does the DA4780 RHS side frame fit?
The DA4780 fits the Land Rover Defender 110 (1986-2006 and 2007-2016) and Series 2/2A and 3 108, both four and five-door Station Wagon only, right-hand side. It's specific to the long-wheelbase Station Wagon body, so it won't suit 90 or 88 short-wheelbase vehicles.
What should I know about door seals before fitting the DA4780?
The DA4780 is made to suit push-on door seals. If your vehicle has rivet-on door seals, the seals need altering to fit. Series applications also require the door keep holes to be modified. Check your seal and door keep type before starting the repair.
