The ANR3606 is the throttle cable for TDi diesel applications. It connects the accelerator pedal to the injection pump throttle lever, transmitting pedal movement to control engine fuelling on the Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic TDi.
Which TDi vehicles does this cable fit?
The ANR3606 fits the Discovery 1 TDi (from VIN JA031012, both left and right-hand drive) and the Range Rover Classic TDi (1986-1994, left-hand drive only). It is not for the VM diesel engine, so confirm your engine and steering side before ordering.
What are the signs an accelerator cable needs replacing?
A worn accelerator cable usually shows as a stiff, sticky or notchy throttle, slow pedal return, or fraying at the cable ends. A seized or stretched inner cable makes throttle response poor and is a common reason to renew the cable on these TDi models.
