What is the ASR1153 bulkhead vent for?
It's the left-hand (near side) hinged vent lid set into the Defender bulkhead, part of the fresh-air ventilation system. Opened, it admits outside air into the footwell; closed, it seals the aperture against draughts and water.
What's the difference between the LH and RH bulkhead vent?
This is the near side (LH) vent lid assembly. The off side (RH) is a separate handed part. They mirror each other, so order the side you need, or both if you're replacing the pair.
Which Defenders does it fit?
