The BTR4373 is the OEM left-hand non-audible front seat belt buckle catch for the Defender (1986-2006, to VIN VA138479, hard top only). It's the fixed lower receiver that accepts the belt tongue. It also fits as the rear seat belt short-end receiver on 110 and 130 wheelbase Defenders.

Does this fit all Defenders, or only specific body types and VIN ranges?

Hard top body configurations only, up to VIN VA138479. It's not for soft top or canvas top Defenders, and Defenders beyond VA138479 use a different buckle. Confirm your body type and VIN before ordering.

What's the difference between the audible and non-audible seat belt buckle?
