De axiale fuseekogel is het scharnierende kogelgewricht dat de spoorstang met de stuurarm verbindt, waardoor stuurbewegingen naar het wiel worden overgebracht, terwijl het gewricht kan draaien tijdens vering en stuuruitslag. De rechtse schroefdraad sluit aan op de spoorstang, en de conische schacht past in het oog van de stuurarm waar deze wordt vastgezet met een kroonmoer.

Geleverd als een complete eenheid bestaande uit de kogelgewrichtbehuizing, de conische schacht en het schroefdraadlichaam.
