Slipflex Bus

Frequently asked questions

What does the CAC9295 slipflex bush do on the front suspension?
It's the pivot bush for the front suspension's upper wishbone, letting the wishbone articulate through suspension travel while locating it and isolating road vibration. The bush fits either side of the vehicle.
How many CAC9295 slipflex bushes does one wishbone need?
Typically one bush per upper wishbone pivot point, so a single wishbone replacement needs one. If you're overhauling both sides of the front suspension, order two, one for each upper wishbone.
Why does the CAC9295 slipflex bush fail and when should it be replaced?
The rubber-to-metal bush typically perishes or wears with age, letting the wishbone move more than designed. Signs include imprecise steering, front-end knock over bumps and uneven front tyre wear. It's usually replaced during a front suspension overhaul.
