Klemmoer voor carrosseriepaneelbevestigingen - een geklemde moer van verenstaal die over de rand van een paneel of in een voorgeboord gat klemt om een schroefdraadanker voor een schroef te bieden. Het gebogen lichaam veert mee wanneer de schroef wordt aangedraaid, waardoor deze onder spanning blijft staan zodat de bevestiging bestand is tegen losraken door trillingen.

Where is the spire nut used on the vehicle?

This spire nut retains trim and body fittings such as grille and headlamp surrounds, rear body panels and tailgate lock components. It's typically found on the Discovery 1 and 2, Freelander 1 and Range Rover Classic where a clip-on threaded fixing is needed.

How many spire nuts do I need?
