LED Light Kit is een complete upgrade set voor LED-achterverlichting volgens NAS-specificatie met heldere lenzen.

Het vervangt de halogeenlampen achteraan door LED-units, die minder stroom verbruiken en een langere levensduur bieden (typische LED-levensduur 100.000 uur). De heldere lenzen geven de NAS-specificatie uitstraling.

Deze kit bevat 1 achteruitrij-LED, 1 mist-LED, 2 richtingaanwijzer-LED's, 2 rem-/achterlicht-LED's, 2 slimme belastingapparaten en 6 plinten met bevestigingsschroeven. De slimme belastingapparaten handhaven de juiste belasting op het richtingaanwijzercircuit, zodat de knipperlichten met de normale frequentie blijven werken, ondanks het verminderde stroomverbruik van de LED-units.

The DA1143CL is a complete rear LED lamp upgrade for the Land Rover Defender in NAS specification with clear lenses. The kit includes 1 reverse LED, 1 fog LED, 2 indicator LEDs, 2 stop/tail LEDs, 2 smart load devices, and 6 plinths with fixing screws.

What do the smart load devices in this kit do?

The two smart load devices maintain the correct load on the Defender's indicator circuit. Because LED units draw less current than the original halogen bulbs, the flasher would otherwise flash too fast. The smart load devices keep the indicators flashing at the normal rate.

Why fit LED lamps instead of the original halogen units?

LED lamps draw less current and last far longer than the halogen cluster they replace, with a typical LED life around 100,000 hours. On the Defender they give brighter, faster-reacting stop and indicator lights, and the clear lenses give the NAS-specification look.

Is the DA1143CL a direct-fit upgrade on the Defender?
