Gestript motorblok is een basis motorblokassemblage voor de 2.4L Td4 (TDCi Puma) diesel, geleverd als een kant-en-klaar-om-te-bouwen eenheid waarop de hulpstukken van de originele motor worden overgezet.

De assemblage bestaat uit het cilinderblok, de cilinderkop, het kleppendeksel, het binnenste distributiekettingdeksel, de nokkenas, het krukastandwiel en de oliecarter. Brandstofinjectie, spruitstukken en externe hulpstukken zijn niet inbegrepen en moeten worden overgezet om de montage te voltooien.

De motor wordt geleverd met een oliecarter volgens Ford-specificaties. De Land Rover oliecarter (LR007598) moet in plaats daarvan worden gemonteerd voordat de installatie plaatsvindt.

What is the DA1182 stripped engine?
The DA1182 is a base 2.4 Td4 (Puma) diesel engine for the Land Rover Defender 2007-2011, supplied ready to build. It comprises the cylinder block, cylinder head, rocker cover, inner timing cover, camshaft, crankshaft gear and sump.
What isn't included with this engine?
Fuel injection, manifolds and external ancillaries aren't included. You transfer these from your original engine to complete the build, so it's a base assembly rather than a complete drop-in unit.
Does it come with the correct sump?
No, it's supplied with a Ford-specification sump. The Land Rover sump LR007598 must be fitted in its place before installation, so budget for that swap as part of the build.
