Frequently asked questions

What is the Rust Proofing Kit (Litre) used for?
The Rust Proofing Kit (Litre) is a Dinitrol kit for full cavity wax and underbody corrosion treatment. It combines cavity wax, underbody coating, stone chip protection and a rust converter to protect chassis box sections, sills and wheel arches, applied with the supplied Schutz gun.
Do I need a compressor for the litre kit?
Yes, the litre kit needs a compressor or air line to drive the supplied Schutz gun. The corrosion products come in refillable 1-litre bottles rather than aerosols. If you don't have an air supply, the aerosol version of this kit is the better choice.
What's the difference between the litre kit and the aerosol kit?
The litre kit uses 1-litre refill bottles and a Schutz gun driven by a compressor, making it suited to larger jobs and trade use. The aerosol kit sprays from cans with no compressor needed. Pick the litre kit if you have an air supply.
