Frequently asked questions

What does the portable air compressor do?
The portable air compressor is a heavy-duty 12V single-pump tyre inflator that runs straight off the vehicle battery. It delivers up to 150 psi at around 72 litres per minute, for reinflating tyres after off-road pressure adjustment or seating a tyre bead. It connects to the battery terminals by heavy-duty clamp leads.
What's supplied with the air compressor?
The air compressor comes with a 10m air hose, pressure gauge and brass fittings, anti-vibration feet and a blow-moulded carrying case. It runs from the battery using its clamp leads. Replacement caps and air filters for the unit are available separately.
Should I choose the single-pump or twin-pump compressor?
The single-pump compressor delivers up to 150 psi at around 72 litres per minute, which suits occasional tyre reinflation. A twin-pump version is also available for roughly double the airflow and faster inflation of larger tyres. Both run from the vehicle's 12V battery.
