Stalen constructie.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Axle Spring Mount and what does it do?
The Axle Spring Mount forms the lower seat for the rear coil spring, locating and retaining the base of the spring on the rear axle. This is the standard-height version, which keeps the original rear suspension geometry and ride height on the Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic.
How is the spring mount fitted?
The Axle Spring Mount is welded onto the rear axle casing, replacing a damaged or corroded original mount. It's a specialist job needing a welder, so it's typically done by a workshop rather than as a DIY bolt-on. Correct positioning is critical to keep the spring aligned.
Why does the rear spring mount need replacing?
Rear spring mounts typically fail through corrosion of the axle-mounted seat, common on older Defenders and Range Rover Classics, or from impact damage off-road. A cracked or rusted mount can let the spring shift. Replacing it restores a secure, correctly located spring base.
