Frequently asked questions

What is the DC6007 shock absorber gaiter?
The DC6007 is a moulded rubber gaiter that sheaths the body and exposed rod of a suspension shock absorber. It shields the damper rod and rod seal from grit, water and debris thrown up off-road, which helps the seal last longer. Supplied singly, one per shock.
Which shock absorbers does the DC6007 gaiter fit?
The DC6007 is the replacement gaiter for the Cellular Dynamic foam-cell shock absorbers, sized for the extra-long DC6000LL front and DC6001LL rear units. It's matched to those longer bodies, so check your shock absorber length before ordering.
How many DC6007 gaiters do I need?
The DC6007 gaiter is supplied individually, one per shock absorber. A vehicle fitted with the long foam-cell dampers front and rear typically needs four to cover every corner. Replacing the gaiters whenever they split helps protect the damper rod seals.
