Het geheel wordt gemonteerd door de bulkhead of scuttle paneel en ondersteunt de externe wisserarm via een spiebaanspindel, terwijl de rotatiebeweging van de door de ruitenwissermotor aangedreven wisserrekkabel wordt overgebracht.
