Deze O-ring dicht de verbinding tussen de oliethermostaat en het adapterlichaam af binnen de oliefilteradapterbehuizing, waardoor olieverlies bij de aansluiting wordt voorkomen. Controleer de O-ring altijd wanneer de oliethermostaat of adapter wordt gedemonteerd en vervang deze als er tekenen zijn van verharding, barsten of afvlakking.
