Klepgeleider voor de V8-benzinemotor, gemonteerd in de cilinderkop als onderdeel van de kleppentrein.

De geleider wordt in de kop geperst en ondersteunt de klepstang, waardoor de klep nauwkeurig is uitgelijnd met zijn zitting wanneer deze opent en sluit. Het voert ook warmte af van de stang naar de cilinderkop en regelt, samen met de klepstangafdichting, de olietoevoer naar de poort. Versleten geleiders veroorzaken een verhoogd olieverbruik en een slechte klepafdichting, en worden vernieuwd tijdens een revisie van de cilinderkop.
