Inlaatklep voor de TD5 2.5L 5-Cilinder Turbo Dieselmotor, zoals gemonteerd op de Defender en Discovery 2.

De inlaatklep regelt de inlaatlading die elke verbrandingskamer in de cilinderkop binnenkomt. De TD5 werkt met vijf inlaatkleppen - één per cilinder - die in direct contact staan met de nokkenvolger. Een versleten of beschadigde inlaatklep vermindert de compressie en verbrandingsefficiëntie, wat resulteert in onregelmatig lopen en vermogensverlies.
