De achterste uitgaande as is de aangedreven as aan de achterkant van de LT230 verdeelbak, die de aandrijving van de verdeelbak naar de achterste cardanas overbrengt.

Gesteund op lagers in de verdeelbak, draagt de as de flens van de achterste uitgaande as die koppelt aan de achterste cardanas, die de aandrijving naar de achteras levert. De splines grijpen in de uitgaande tandwiel van de verdeelbak, waardoor het een essentieel onderdeel is van de vierwielaangedreven aandrijflijn.
