De ontgrendeling van de motorkap werkt via twee gekoppelde kabelgedeelten. Dit tweede gedeelte transporteert de trekbeweging van het eerste gedeelte naar de motorkapsluiting, waardoor de vergrendeling wordt ingetrokken om de motorkap vrij te geven.
