What does this Brake Calliper Kit upgrade?
This is a front-axle brake upgrade replacing the standard discs, callipers and pads with a 6-piston calliper set finished in red. It fits the Defender, both the 1983 to 2006 and the 2007 to 2016 Puma versions, and requires 18 inch wheels to clear the larger callipers.
Does this kit cover both sides of the front axle?
Yes. It's supplied as a complete axle set covering both front corners, with matching discs, callipers and pads for the left and right side, so you don't need to order it twice for a full front-end upgrade.
Will my current wheels clear this brake kit?
Only if you're running 18 inch wheels or larger. The 6-piston calliper kit is sized for 18 inch rims, and smaller wheels won't clear the assembly, so check your wheel size before ordering.
