A/C vloeistof O-ring dicht een verbinding af aan de vloeistof (hogedruk) zijde van het airconditioningcircuit, waar gecondenseerd koelmiddel van de condensor en droger naar het expansieventiel stroomt. Geplaatst bij de verbinding vormt het een statische afdichting die voorkomt dat koelmiddel ontsnapt bij de koppeling.

O-ringen zijn voor eenmalig gebruik; vernieuw en smeer met koelmiddelolie telkens wanneer de verbinding wordt geopend om een betrouwbare afdichting te herstellen.
