Body Mount Afstandbus maakt deel uit van de carrosserie-chassis montage, geplaatst op een bevestigingspunt tussen de carrosserie en het chassisframe.

Het zorgt voor de juiste afstand tussen de carrosserie en de chassisbalk en de bout wordt door de boring geleid, zodat de klemkracht door de stijve buis wordt gedragen in plaats van de flexibele bevestiging te pletten. What is the body mount spacer tube for?
The body mount spacer tube sets the correct standoff between the body and the chassis frame at a body mounting point. The mounting bolt passes through its bore, so clamping load is carried through the rigid tube rather than crushing the flexible rubber mount. Fitted to Discovery 1, Discovery 2 and Range Rover Classic.
What else is needed when fitting the body mount spacer tube?
The body mount spacer tube installs together with the rubber body mount bushes and the mounting bolt hardware, as part of the complete body-to-chassis mount assembly. If the tube is corroded or crushed, it's worth renewing the rubber mounts at the same time. Fits Discovery 1, Discovery 2 and Range Rover Classic.
