What is the EGR sealing ring used for?
The EGR sealing ring is a 31.03 x 3.5mm O-ring that seals a pipe joint in the exhaust gas recirculation system on the 3.6L V8 TdV8 diesel. It stops exhaust gas leaking at the connection it sits in.
Should the EGR sealing ring be reused?
No. This O-ring is single-use. It's compressed to seal the EGR joint and won't seal reliably once disturbed, so fit a new 31.03 x 3.5mm ring whenever the EGR pipe connection is opened up.
Which vehicles does this EGR sealing ring fit?
