Trekhaakconstructie is de trekhaakbevestiging aan de achterzijde die het aankoppelpunt van het voertuig vormt en die aan de dwarsbalk van het achterchassis wordt gemonteerd.

De constructie bestaat uit een trekhaakplaat met een vaste trekhaakkogel, die de kogel op de juiste werkhoogte instelt voor het aankoppelen van een aanhanger of gesleepte lading. Deze wordt aan de sleepbeugels van de dwarsbalk vastgeschroefd en brengt zowel de trek- als de verticale neusbelasting over op het chassis.
