What is the LH exhaust manifold gasket for?
This is the left-hand exhaust manifold gasket, sealing the exhaust manifold against the cylinder head face on the left-hand bank of the 5.0L V8 AJ133 petrol engine. It contains exhaust gas at the manifold-to-head joint through the heat cycling the manifold sees in service.
What's the difference between the LH and RH gasket?
This gasket is the left-hand side. The right-hand bank takes the handed equivalent, LR010839. The two aren't interchangeable, so if you're doing both manifolds order one of each, and check which bank you're working on before fitting.
Should this manifold gasket be reused?
