What is the LR011343 intercooler gasket used for?
The LR011343 is a genuine gasket that seals the intercooler to the inlet manifold on the supercharged 5.0L V8 petrol engine (AJ133). It seals the charge-air joint so boost pressure is not lost between the intercooler and the manifold.
Does this gasket fit the naturally aspirated 5.0 V8?
No. This gasket fits the supercharged 5.0L V8 petrol (AJ133) only, not the naturally aspirated version. It covers the Defender 2020+ (L663), Range Rover L322 and L405, Range Rover Sport L320 and L494, and Velar with the supercharged engine.
Can the intercooler gasket be reused?
Replace the intercooler-to-manifold gasket whenever the intercooler is removed. These gaskets are single-use and take a set once torqued, so refitting an old one risks a charge-air leak and lost boost on the supercharged 5.0L V8.
