Brand Beru
Gloeibougie voor het voorverwarmcircuit van de dieselmotor bij een koude start. De bougie wordt in de cilinderkop geschroefd, waarbij het verwarmingselement in de verbrandingskamer uitsteekt. Dit verhoogt de temperatuur in de cilinder om een betrouwbare ontsteking van de dieselbrandstof te garanderen tijdens het koud starten en opwarmen.

Per cilinder is één gloeibougie gemonteerd en deze wordt door de motorregeleenheid via het gloeibougierelais geactiveerd voor een gecontroleerde voorverwarm- en naverwarmcyclus. Geleverd als een enkele bougie.

How many glow plugs are needed?
One glow plug is fitted per cylinder, so a 3.0L V6 diesel uses six and a 4.4L V8 diesel uses eight. Glow plugs are usually replaced as a complete set rather than individually, since they age together. Order quantities to match your engine.
