OEM Part
OEM: Made by an Original Equipment Manufacturer. This part is made by an original equipment manufacturer or under their license, ensuring compatibility and quality.
Beschrijving:

Frequently asked questions

What does the Exhaust Gasket do on a 3.0 TDV6?
This Exhaust Gasket seals the right-hand cylinder bank's exhaust manifold to the front exhaust pipe on the 3.0L TDV6 and SDV6 diesel engine. The V6 diesel uses separate left- and right-hand manifold gaskets, one per bank, so this gasket seals the RH side only.
Which Land Rover models use this right-hand exhaust gasket?
This RH gasket fits the 3.0L diesel in the Discovery 4 (2010-2016), Discovery 5 (2017+), Range Rover L405 (2013-2022), Range Rover Sport L320 (2010-2013), Range Rover Sport L494 (2014-2022) and Range Rover Velar (2017+). Confirm your engine is the 3.0 V6 diesel before ordering.
Why does the exhaust manifold gasket fail on these diesels?
The exhaust manifold gasket usually fails from repeated heat cycling and manifold distortion, which breaks the gas-tight seal at the RH manifold outlet. On the 3.0 V6 diesel this shows as an exhaust leak, ticking under load, or a smell of fumes from the right side of the engine.
Should I replace both manifold gaskets together?
You can replace the RH gasket alone, but it's common to renew both banks together since the engine uses one gasket per side. If the manifold is already off for access on the right, pairing it with the left-hand gasket avoids a repeat job for a small extra cost.
