What does the blower assembly do?
The blower assembly is the heater blower motor and fan for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit. The motor drives the centrifugal fan that draws air through the intake and pollen filter and forces it across the heater matrix and evaporator into the cabin, providing all fan speeds.
What are the signs the blower motor is failing?
Worn blower motor bearings typically show as noise or vibration that rises with fan speed, while a failed motor leaves no airflow at the vents on any speed. It's controlled through the blower speed resistor or control module.
Is this the right-hand or left-hand drive blower?
This is the right-hand drive (RHD) specification. The blower housing and motor differ between left- and right-hand drive vehicles, so the left-hand drive assembly is a separate part, LR016627. Confirm your vehicle is RHD before ordering.
