The Mirror Housing Cover (LR019962) is the outer cap for the left-hand exterior door mirror. It clips over the mirror housing to enclose the glass and motor and forms the painted outer face on the door. It's a body panel, not an electrical part.
Does this mirror cover need painting before fitting?
Yes. This cover comes in primer finish, so it needs painting to your body colour before fitting to a Discovery 4, Freelander 2, Range Rover L322 or Range Rover Sport. Priming lets you match any factory colour or respray. Most buyers have it sprayed by a body shop.
