What does the Coolant Bleed Hose do?
The Coolant Bleed Hose vents trapped air from the cooling system of the 4.4L V8 turbo-diesel (TDV8). It sits in the bleed circuit at the thermostat housing, letting air escape as the system is filled so the engine warms without air locks. It's a small cooling-system hose.
Which models does it fit?
It fits the 4.4L DOHC V8 diesel (TDV8) in the Range Rover L322 (2010-2012, from VIN BA000001), Range Rover L405 (2013 on) and Range Rover Sport L494 (2014 on). Confirm your engine is the 4.4 TDV8 before ordering.
