Doseerklep voor het brandstofinjectiesysteem van de 4.4L V8 TDV8 dieselmotor.

De doseerklep is gemonteerd op het hogedrukbrandstofpompblok en is een elektromechanische solenoïde die de hoeveelheid brandstof regelt die vanuit het lagedrukaanvoercircuit in de compressietrap van de pomp wordt gezogen. Het motormanagementsysteem regelt de openingsduur van de klep om de raildruk in de common rail te sturen, waardoor de brandstoftoevoerhoeveelheid en het injectietijdstip direct worden beheerd. Een defecte doseerklep veroorzaakt doorgaans moeilijk starten, onregelmatig lopen of vermogensverlies onder belasting.
