What is this bolt for?
This bolt secures the accessory drive pulley at the front of the 2.0L 16V turbocharged petrol engine. It clamps the pulley that drives the auxiliary belt system. It's fitted to petrol engines only across the Discovery Sport, Freelander 2, Range Rover L405, Range Rover Sport L494 and Evoque L538.
How many of these bolts are needed?
Typically one accessory drive pulley bolt is used per pulley, but check the number your job calls for, as the accessory drive can carry more than one pulley. It's sold singly. Order the quantity that matches the pulleys you're removing on the 2.0L petrol engine.
Can this pulley bolt be reused?
Drive pulley bolts like this are typically treated as single-use because many are torque-to-yield or use a locking coating. Fitting a fresh bolt is the safe choice whenever the accessory drive pulley is disturbed on the 2.0L petrol engine. Torque to the workshop manual specification.
