What is this trim clip for?
This trim clip is a plastic push-fit retaining clip that secures exterior trim and body mouldings to the vehicle. It locates in a pre-drilled panel hole and holds wheel-arch trim, bumper trim or body moulding in place. It's fitted across the Discovery 5, Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque L538.
How many trim clips do I need?
Order the quantity that matches the number of clips on the trim you're refitting, as a single moulding can use several. These are sold singly. Buying a few spares is common since the barbs can distort on removal on the Discovery 5, Discovery Sport and Evoque.
Can trim clips be reused?
Trim clips like this are single-use, so replacement is recommended whenever the trim is removed. The retaining barbs can distort as the clip is pulled out, which stops it gripping securely on refit. Fit fresh clips to hold the trim or moulding properly.
