Remschijfslijtagesensor - Voor De elektronische remschijfslijtagesensor voor de vooras, onderdeel van het waarschuwingscircuit voor de remslijtage van het remsysteem. Deze bevindt zich in de remklauw voor, naast de remblokken.

De sensor bevat een draadlus die dicht bij het frictieoppervlak van het remblok is geplaatst. Wanneer het remblok tot zijn servicelimiet slijt, onderbreekt contact met de remschijf de lus, waardoor het instrumentenpaneel het waarschuwingslampje voor remslijtage weergeeft, zodat de remblokken worden vervangen voordat het frictiemateriaal op is.
