What is this primary fuel filter for?

This primary fuel filter cleans diesel of water and contaminants before it reaches the injection system. Fitted to the Range Rover Velar L560, it sits in-line on the front fuel lines and serves both the 2.0L I4 and 3.0L V6 diesel engines.

Does it fit my Velar diesel?

The filter suits Range Rover Velar L560 diesel models from 2017. On the 3.0L V6 Gen2 twin-turbo it applies from VIN KA786261, and it covers the 2.0L I4 diesel in high and mid output forms. Petrol Velars don't use it.

When should the primary fuel filter be replaced?

Replace the primary fuel filter when you notice diesel power loss, rough running or hard starting, which point to a restricted filter. Regular replacement protects the high-pressure pump and injectors on the Velar's Ingenium and V6 diesel engines.

Is it a hard filter to fit?
