Binnendorpel - deursectie, linkerkant (bij de stoeprand). Een structureel carrosseriepaneel dat de binnenzijde van de dorpel onder de deuropening vormt.

De binnendorpel zit achter de buitendorpel en maakt deel uit van de onderste carrosseriestructuur langs de deuropening, waardoor de zijkant van de carrosserie stevigheid krijgt en een montagebasis wordt geboden voor de vloerrand en het buitenste dorpelpaneel.
