Remschijf - geventileerde remschijf vooraan, onderdeel van de remmontage vooraan.

De schijf vormt het wrijvingsoppervlak waartegen de voorste remblokken klemmen tijdens het remmen. De geventileerde (intern geventileerde) constructie zuigt lucht door de schijf om warmte af te voeren tijdens langdurig of zwaar remmen, waardoor het risico op fading van de remmen wordt verminderd. Hij wordt aan de voornaaf gemonteerd en draait mee met het wiel.
