Remschijf achter - een geventileerde remschijf voor de achteras die deel uitmaakt van de achterremschijfeenheid.

De schijf is aan de achternaaf geschroefd en draait daarmee mee. Tijdens het remmen drukt de remklauw de remblokken tegen beide wrijvingsoppervlakken, waardoor de bewegingsenergie van het voertuig wordt omgezet in warmte. De intern geventileerde constructie plaatst koelribben tussen de twee oppervlakken, waardoor lucht door de rotor wordt gezogen om die warmte af te voeren en remvervaging te voorkomen bij langdurig of zwaar remmen.
