Frequently asked questions

What is the LR436 Rear Door Floor Side Panel (LH)?

The LR436NS Rear Door Floor Side Panel is a body repair panel for the floor and sill area beneath the left-hand (nearside) rear door on the 4-door Range Rover Classic. It replaces the corroded floor/sill section in the rear door aperture, restoring the structural edge of the body floor where it meets the lower door opening.

Where does the rear door floor side panel sit on a Range Rover Classic?

On the 4-door Range Rover Classic, this panel forms the floor and sill section directly beneath the left-hand rear door opening. It's a low, enclosed area that collects water and mud, so it's a common rust spot. The LR436NS section is cut in to replace that corroded nearside floor edge.

What does NS mean, and is this a weld-in panel?

NS means nearside, the left-hand side of the vehicle, so the LR436NS fits the left rear door floor on the 4-door Range Rover Classic. The offside (right) uses the matching panel. It's a cut-in, weld-in repair section, so it typically needs metalworking and welding rather than a bolt-on fit.
