Frequently asked questions

What is the MTC3000SS mudflap bracket and what does it do?
It's the front right-hand mudflap bracket that retains the mudflap and secures it to the body, so the flap hangs correctly behind the front wheel of the Land Rover Defender. It's made in stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
Which side and which vehicles does this bracket fit?
This is the right-hand front bracket, fitting the Land Rover Defender 90, 110 and 130 from 1983 to 2016. It positions the front RH mudflap. For the opposite side you'll need the left-hand bracket, so check which side you're replacing.
Why choose the stainless steel bracket?
Stainless steel resists the corrosion that affects original mild-steel mudflap brackets, which rust where road spray and mud collect behind the wheel. On a Defender used off-road or through winter, the stainless version typically lasts far longer than a plain steel bracket.
