MXC2687LOY - Deurafdichting – Achterklep

The MXC2687LOY is the rubber weatherstrip that fits around the rear load door (tailgate) aperture. It compresses against the closed door to seal the cabin against water, dust, draughts and road noise. This is an OEM part for the Discovery 1.

This rear load/tail door seal fits the Land Rover Discovery 1 (1989-1998). It seals the rear door aperture against the elements. Confirm you need the rear tailgate seal rather than a side or upper door seal before ordering, since each aperture uses its own profile.

Typically the seal needs replacing when it hardens, splits or flattens and loses compression, which usually shows up as wind noise or water leaking into the rear load area. On an older Discovery 1 a perished rear seal is a common cause of a damp boot. A fresh seal restores the weather seal.
