Beschrijving:

Frequently asked questions

What is the NTC2736 coolant expansion hose for?
The NTC2736 Coolant Expansion Hose carries coolant between the radiator overflow port and the coolant expansion tank, keeping the cooling system at the correct level as the engine heats and cools. It's a Genuine Land Rover hose for the Defender's cooling circuit.
Which Defender engines use the NTC2736 hose?
The NTC2736 hose fits Land Rover Defender models with the 2.5-litre Diesel Turbo (19J) engine, and V8 petrol versions fitted with an engine oil cooler. Because it's the oil-cooler routing, check your Defender has the oil cooler before ordering, as non-oil-cooler models route the hose differently.
What are the signs the expansion hose needs replacing?
A coolant expansion hose typically needs replacing when the rubber perishes, cracks or splits, causing coolant loss and a dropping expansion tank level. On older Land Rover Defender cooling systems these hoses harden with age and heat. Replacing a failed hose helps prevent overheating and leaks.
