Luchtfilter voor het luchtinlaatsysteem van de motor. Het element wordt in het luchtfilterhuis geplaatst en vangt stof en vuil uit de inkomende luchtstroom op voordat deze langs de massaluchtsensor gaat en de gasklep binnengaat, waardoor de motor wordt beschermd tegen schurende verontreinigingen en tegelijkertijd een onbeperkte luchtstroom behouden blijft.

Het geplooide filtermedium bevindt zich in een afgedicht frame dat tegen het huis aanligt, zodat alle inlaatlucht door het element stroomt. Vervang het filter volgens het geplande onderhoudsinterval, of eerder bij stoffige bedrijfsomstandigheden.
