What is the power steering hose assembly?
The power steering hose assembly is the complete pre-formed pipe cluster of the power-assisted steering circuit on the Discovery 2. It routes fluid between the pump, steering box and reservoir, carrying both the pressurised feed and the low-pressure return in one part.
Why buy the assembly rather than separate hoses?
The assembly comes pre-bent to the factory routing, so each leg locates correctly in its retaining clips on the Discovery 2. That saves reshaping individual hoses and keeps the pipes clear of surrounding components.
Which Discovery 2 does it fit, and what is needed after fitting?
